Carve your own ring design to be cast in sterling silver by the lovely folks from CAST SHEFFIELD. Enjoy an evening of small plates focused on fermentation and summer flavours.

Maybe you’re a complete novice or perhaps you’ve tried your hand at a bit of bread making with erm….mixed results?

This course will take you through the baking process, exploring the importance of each ingredient and your baking environment and how they affect your dough.

We thought we were out, but you pulled us back in! We’ll be firing up the ovens one more time for a summertime pizza night. Book a table or take away, the choice is yours.

Come and join us from 6pm-9pm for some tasty as pizzas. You’ve got plenty of choices where to eat:

  • Book a table between 6-9.30pm in our upstairs seating area and bar
  • Pre-order your pizza for pick up between 6-7pm and choose to eat it in the bakery, outside in the sunshine (?) or take it all home
  • Arrive between 7-9pm in the bakery to order, then takeaway or find a spot in the bakery

Sourdough is what we do best. Using wild yeasts and bacteria, we’ll spend the day leavening our bread the old fashioned way. People have been baking this way for thousands of years. You don’t need to have any previous baking knowledge to delve into the wonderful world of sourdough.

Learn how to create your own starter and keep it alive at home. We’ll explore how different flours affect the flavour of your starter and in turn the final loaf.
