For bread making. Fresh yeast doesn't need to be activated, it's ready to use straight away. Generally, you would use double the weight of the dry yeast in a recipe if you were using fresh yeast instead. The shelf life is generally around 10 days (we will label your pack), but after this date the yeast will still rise your bread, but maybe a little more slowly. This yeast can be used for savoury or sweet baking, but for very rich doughs we suggest using our dried osmotolerant yeast. Supplied in 100g portion. Keep refrigerated.
