In 2018 we decided to enter the World Bread Awards for the first time…and we won! Our ciabatta came out of top, pitted against loaves from all over the country.
We entered 5 categories, won with our Ciabatta and also came runner up in the Malt Bread category with Head Baker Steve’s amazing Caramalt & Rye Stout Sourdough made with Abbeydale Brewery Kid Ryenamite. It was great to meet other baker’s on the night as it’s always hard to find time to visit places when you run a small business. We’ll definitely be entering again next year.
